Nathan Lomax Cooke

Nathan is a broadcast trained video professional with 16 years of experience spanning primetime television, independent production and agency leadership.
He's spent his career equally at home directing from behind the camera and fine-tuning a story in the edit suite, giving him a rare, full-spectrum understanding of what it takes to make a video work — creatively and operationally.

Previously, as Head of Video at The Content Engine, he led staffing and resourcing, oversaw creative quality control, and worked directly with clients on complex, sensitive productions for major enterprise and public sector organisations. He also pioneered the agency's shift to remote recording, introducing new systems and workflows that made high-quality interviews possible without a crew on-site.

Before that, he ran his own production company, Zanshin Films, filming, directing and editing for clients including VMware, the NHS and VWV, while managing budgets, freelancers and equipment end-to-end. His two year retainer with VMware produced Carpool Tech Talks, an original interview series that reached over one million YouTube views.

Nathan cut his teeth in broadcast TV, working up from runner to camera operator on primetime shows for the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Sky and Discovery, grounding everything he does today in real production-floor experience.
